Here are my opinions on Windows 8. I believe that there are many good aspects of this operating systems that are meant for tablets. If you are developer and are planning on developing for tablets download the developers preview.

  • if you hate windows 8 give it to me and i give you my windows 7 it is realy fast and the memory is 1.000.000.000

  • You should be reviewing Expression 5, VS11, and WinRT protocol. The apps sideloaded are built from interns, they won't be in the final build. This is intended for devs like myself to build apps and test the API. When Beta is shipped, feel free to write a review of your impressions. I'm using the confidential build from the First App contetst and it's dramatically more stable. Plus the Marketplace is a whole new ball game. Just my two-cents

  • @sethpanic ok no problem, definitely.... This is just a dev preview anyways :)

  • @AtactHD What I meant to say is that you can have separate backgrounds on each monitor

  • @BritishBroadway thank you very much I appreciate your comment :)

  • pssst this is only the demo mabye BETA will be better. this is pre BETA

  • what? wha?

  • @TheSwiftHero I had that same feeling too. He didn't really support his arguments at all. Not so much of a good review in my opinion.

  • You say you can't multitask however, you are able to split applications so you can have more than one show up on your screen at the same time. You demonstrated that on the desktop aero interface but, I guess you didn't know that you are also able to do that in the metro UI as well. The fact that one program takes up full screen doesn't necessarily mean there is no multitasking. It means that you can view more content from the application rather than having other icons clutter over your screen.

  • you have always been able to set one desktop background to be on 2 monitors. im running with 6 monitors right now and what you do is you set the desktop image to "Tile" and it will fit across all the monitors
