How to: Stormwind Guard Armor

I have successfully put together the most cost efficient armor set to show the impression of a Stormwind Guard. You can obtain the Imperial Armor on Horde and Alliance. Crest of Darkshire is Alliance only! Aegis is of Stormwind is a World Drop. Good Luck

Easy to get if you are at least level 50. It is a plate armor set, its fun to have and worth it in the end.

Also the shield can be acquired from either horde or alliance.

I know a better shield for the guard's set. Called Maximillian's Shield. Its the EXACT replica of what the Stormwind guards use. He's located in Un'goro Crater. Find him and do his questline, the last quest being "The Ballad of Maximillian" and the shield is a reward choice. i would post the link to wowhead but won't let me.

Well to me Imperial armor looks for for Knights of the silver hand than sw armor because the shoulders r different than guards

@MoltenTank the shoulders ARE right. The set refers you to a Lordaeron guard. Someone else said the gloves where wrong and that I can agree on cause I have the set myself.

It's a tough choice if you want to be accurate, since the imperial shoulders have the right colours but the wrong model, while heavy mithril shoulders have the right model but the wrong colours. I found this very maddening until I decided not to go for a SW guard look at all.
