If you buy it new, there is nothing but the mechanics in it, no engine or servos, but I bought mine used from someone, who was already flying it

not usually new, but there are lots of rcuniverse buy and sell that are ready to fly. They are not easy, and shouldn't start with one that has a nice body. Get a RC heli siom like realflight too
