Looking for a tree? Get arborist Guy LeBlancs picks for hardy, long-lasting choices. He includes drought-tough accents and shade for smaller yards, along with expansive shade trees for bigger spaces. Find out how to plant, how close to plant to a felled tree stump, and what to do their first year.

Worried about tropicals freezing? Daphne Richards explains what to do. Trisha Shirey shows how to dry or freeze herbs to enjoy them all winter.

On tour, visit Gail & Don Clowes San Antonio garden.
