THE MAN WITH NO PAST

This film follows David Fitzpatrick a 25 year old from South London. He has a younger brother and 6 year-old daughter. But David only knows this because this is what his family and friends have told him. His first memory is from December 4, 2005 when he found himself standing outside a hospital not knowing why he was there. He is the UK's 13th ever recorded case of dissociative fugue, an extremely rare type of amnesia that could happen to any of us.

Im not being rude but if you are serious thats a ridiculous suggestion. You cant fake something like that. His whole personality is gone....everything about him. He doesnt know what he likes, what he dislikes, where he has been or what he was likeHis life was going down the toilet and he had had lost the love of his life. It seems that this is an extreme defense mechanism by the brain to protect itself and the body by blotting out everything about his painful life.

@BEAvMUNK5679 I have something like that. I can't remember half my childhood and thats about from 3 onwards which is only 11 years ago for me. Even people who live in my street I can't remember and some people in my family too. I only know people really close to me like my best friends and family like mum dad sisters brothers aunt uncle gran grandad and great gran.

hi this is my brother. he was not abducted by aliens or anything stupid like that. he is doing well but still has no memory of his life before losing his memory. he has watched videos and looked at pics but doesnt remember nothing. he has started a new life and doing well even though the last couple of yrs has been hard. if anyone has any questions i will do my best to reply.

Can a person lie about not remembering anything or is there some kind of test that can prove it? If not, then maybe he was embrasassed by gf dumping him or he didn't want to take whatever responsibilties he had. He just starts a new life.
