Koh Samed is an Island located about 140 miles southeast of Bangkok, Thailand, in the Rayong Province. You can take a taxi boat there for 40 Baht ($1.17 USD) Scooters can be rented for about 400 Baht per day ($11.00 USD). ATV and dirtbikes are also available. We stayed at Sang Tien Beach. Gulf-side cabins can be rented for about $14.00 USD per person. Ours slept 4 people. I would have expected "Heaven on Earth" to be much more expensive. :P
