My pops played this and other music by Gil around me all the time. I now have just about his whole collection and he's me favorite artist of all time. To parents who think their kids aren't listening to the 'oldies but goodies', keep playing your music around them. They may not appreciate the music now, but those old songs will remain buried in the back of their minds and will conjure up as they go through life experiences.
