  • The way McGinley's face changes after the line "Where do you think we are" is magnificent. It doesn't show surprise, exactly... it shows the shedding of denial, which is similar to surprise, but not the same. And the sad, heartbreaking half-smile he has for just a split second as he turns away from where Ben's ghost was is exquisite... a look that says, "Oh... right...", and expresses acceptance and despair in a single moment. Marvelous.

  • I still can't believe this was only 3 weeks after Joshua wrote and recorded winter and it was played worldwide in such an iconic scene. Long live the glory of scrubs and it's music...

  • When I first saw this episode I didn't know that this was coming up. We watched this episode, along with a few others, in my psychology class, about the Kubler-Ross stages of grief, and you can tell from the whole episode what was going on. From when cox denied that Ben was dead, getting mad at JD, then blaming it on himself. In one line, he says something about how he would give anything to make it normal again.
