This was filmed in Uxmal,Yucatan where the Mayan once thrived. and the thing that bothers me about the Mexica movement is that all they discuss is about Tenochtitlan,Nahuatl langauge, and Central Mexico history. They say there support all indigenous cultures but all I hear is about Tenochtitlan. Yes, I know this video is talking about uprising and taking back our culture but they could of at least mentioned where they were at and gave a brief description about the place and people.

Good video it has many good point but! with all the respect i think that in order to claim yourself being MEXICA you must know and speak NAHUATL!!! first than english or spanish, is good that u know your history but please english mixed with nahuatl? what a shame!

@RiKisssimo If the gentlemen in the video spoke in Nahuatl how many of our people would understand the message they are trying to get through . The question you put out is why less then 2 millions Mexicans speak Nahuatl and not more .

And the last and most painful thing is and i have seen it, in many places of Mexico specially the City, is that the Nahuatl speakers are being discriminated by their on "RAZA"!!! and as a consequence of that, they prefer to speak in Spanish, now returning to the gentleman on the video it would be waaaaaaaaay better listen to them talking beautifully in Nahuatl WITH close captions (CC) in Spanish and English! then i would say "these are truly original 100% MEXICAS".

@RiKisssimo The spanish did a good job of killing our identity . A few of us are starting to learn our true history and long with that we learn Nahuatl on the way . "one step at a time " . It is important to get the message out for now . Not wait until we learn Nahuatl and our people still wouldn't know what we are talking about .

No, don't get me wrong!!! i was born in Mexico City an even i feel shame of not be able to speak Nahuatl because i think every Mexican should have that as the primary language!, if the point here is to let the Spaniards know "hey you destroy our empire and its people but not our language" and have the Spanish language as secondary, another thing is the government don't promote the Nahuatl language on many public schools,
