Well, this was quite a while ago to be fair and you could get very drunk on £10 and still have enough left over for tea! But not on a Sunday, mind. We had to go south of the river to find a pub open on a Sunday. Ah, happy days! (Not!)

I once spent a week in Menai Bridge on work experience. [long pause... so what?] Just saying, is all. We had £10 a day spending money. Spent £10 a night on alcohol. Bangor had that effect on us! It's the only, and I MEAN *only* seaside place I've ever been to which does not have a side by the sea!! It's physically impossible, but true!

Menai Bridge? I highly recommend eating at The Antelope. Terrible service and crappy food, but it's worth it when you get your dessert and your spoon is half buried in it. Haven't had a funnier night out before or since!
