  • @m4ht1sonni Actually. both a HD 5970, and HD 6870 crossfireX is faster then a GTX 580.... Idiot.

  • @Bladeworkssystems LOL u know anything about hardware?? HD5970 is better than gtx580, it is much hotter so gtx580 is better deal but hd5970 has better frame rate. HD5970 is much better than my gtx560ti SLI and that is better than hd6870cf

  • just 2 HD 6870's will pull 70+ FPS in crysis maxed...

a GTX 580 gets about the same.

  • @marfg12345 you mentioned bf3 my bad, and a 6990 is enough unless you're using eyefinity..

  • @Thryack i don't see where i said "you need 2x6990 to play bf3"

i was talking about crysis, you need 2 x 6990 for constant 60-80fps on 1080p or higher maxed 4aa

and no, you don't need 2x6990 for bf3, one hd5870/6950 will be able to max out the game smooth.

  • @marfg12345 what you are saying is you need crossfire 6990 to play bf3? thats more than enough for 6 monitors.

  • @Thryack maybe you didn't understand me, internet benchmarks say 60fps, which means it's gets to 60, but will drop under it quite a lot

i was saying CONSTANT 60-80 fps, so no droping below those numbers

  • @marfg12345 if you don't know shit don't comment, a single GTX 580 was used on BF3 and it gets 60 FPS. so a 5970 could most likely get over 50 if not over 40

  • Nvidia obviously "looks" much better than ati on screen. but looks worse on benchmark

  • @Djcrazy32 most demanding game today, maybe bf3 will beat it, but i doubt it

    for constant 60-80 fps, you will ned 2xhd6990 (crossfire, 8gb gddr5 VRAM), a good quad core cpu (i5 2500k), 4 or 6gb ddr3 ram
