27T Stock 540 Motor with 3S Lipo RC18T

This is an RC18T running a stock 27T 540-sized motor and a 3-cell lipo battery. Top speed estimated at about 47mph. Probably not as fast as other people's Mamba setups, but still pretty quick. The video is kinda long, but it is what it is.

I've been thinking along those lines, but with the 7700kv Mamba Max and 3S lipo. The numbers are insane, theoretically could hit 100 mph. Check out my other vid with a 10T brushed Trinity D6 540 motor. It's quite a bit faster. That motor has a kv of about 5800, though it's brushed, at 11.1V, it absolutely screams. But there is potential for more speed with a Max, although controlling the truck and not blowing out the gears is another story...

Thanks, I know it's long, I could cut it down to a minute and you'd get the idea. I drove around in the dirt for a while but got too many rocks stuck in the spur gear and eventually just ruined it. I couldn't gain any traction in the dirt, it just spun out, and kicked up a lot dirt and rocks.

I have an RC18T, but mine came stock with a 370. I'm running a 2 cell lipo right now. Everything else-with the exception of the a-arms, shock towers, and bumper, and steering link-are stock. I wanted to know what would be a good motor to use to attain a more calm 30 mph? I plan on making the truck more suited to mixtures of concrete and grassy terrain, so I want some extra torque and power, with some speed to boot.
