R.I.P Lucy ♥ : Lucy's lulaby

this has been really hard. for me. for alexa and her family. for erin. for everyone that has ever been around lucy or ridden her. this video is a tribute to lucy. my way to say goodbye since i was not able to say goodbye to her at her last hours at applebrook farm. i love lucy and alwys will♥ . she has taught me so much and isure will not forget her. i give my sympathy to alexa (iluvlucy1234).

LUCYS STORY
so lucy had a tumor in her tail for a rly long time. eventually alexa and her family decided to take her to surgery to get it removed. This only made the tumor worse. After her surgery it started to go down in swelling but then swelled even more. We noticed when she was being ridden that she would stop at fences and that was not like her. Everyone started to thing that this tumor rly is causing alot of pain. So alexa and her family decided to take her to new bolton center to be evaluated. Results werent good. They said that lucy had more tumors in her insides that was causing her alot of pain. Also that this condition was super rare. It hadnt rly been studied before. Then the decision was made. Alexa and her family would donate lucy to new bolton center for research for 24 hours and after that lucy would be euthenized. When i found out i was crushed. I had a huge agenda for us; showing and having fun. But this could never happen now. Today is the day (July 7th 2009) that lucy will leave applebrook farm for research and to be put down. RIP Lucy-we love you♥
