I heard Eddie Kendricks version first which was great in itself for that time ...then Jamie comes along and puts the "house music touch" on it to make it an even better cut.....too bad he hasn't come out with anything new. The Midnite Hour is a great CD if you can find it.
I've heard very little of this tune and it never received too much airplay here in Chicago, but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this tune already (I've always loved Jaime Principle, best known for his classics "Waiting On My Angel," "Baby Wants To Ride," obviously lol, and "Hot Body" just to name a few). Leave to mixmaster Steve "SIlk" Hurley to give these classic the Hurley touch (love those saxophone sounds too, and this is what makes his remixes stand out). 5 stars & playlisted :-D
