Escape Parrot Coaxed into flying down to Rescuer 3 of 4 videos

5-7-11 I was received a call to help an Escaped Nandy Conure at the Foothills of Mt. St. Helens. This call came from a family that I had placed this bird with a few months prior.

After 7 hours of search, and tracking "Melex" the escaped Nandy Conure in the cold foothills of Mt. St. Helens.

Melex showed his true loyalty, trust and love for warmth. He finally flew down from over a 100' feet to an 8' foot branch directly in front of me; Making this a easy rescue. Melix showed that she remembered me Her Final steps before grab!
Now around, 8:15 pm after flying down over 100 feet down Melix is just now just a few feet away from me!

Melix's last steps of freedom outdoors; and she tries to hop down to my hand. "Melix" seems a little scared, tired, hungry and a bit confused. Melix showed that he remembered me and was happy to see me.

Now just a few feet away, all I needed to get him!!!
