You are NO LONGER the party of Lincoln, the GOP is what the slave owning DEM were during Lincoln's days. the Tags have stayed the same, but the party has switched...if there was Slavery today, the GOP party would certainly turn a blind eye to it.. GOP are all white corporatist plutocracy ideology that hates muslims and will waste the resources of the middle class. But the GOP has the best lie factories in the nation...how else do you convince people to vote against public option healthcare?

I love CA, this year has reaffirmed out disdain for the GOP ideology...the stupidity of that party is astounding...UC Educated people will never vote for the GOP...bunch of parasites who voted to destroy out education system, who defunded everything for the people to rise thorugh hardships...bunch of losers...nationally the war in Iraq and "only tax breaks for the rich" are truly a sore eye in CA. The rest of the world must follow CA's lead...if not for GOP, we'd be 10times better, nat'lly

Maldonado is a disgrace, a RINO, RINOs being one of the MAIN causes why we Republicans --that is, those who agree with the party platform-- are moving away. However, we need an electoral instrument to get rid of the Maldonados of the world. We MUST dump the GOP of RINOs (Maldonado, Schwarzenegger, McCain, Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, etc), opportunists (Huckabee, Gingrich, Romney) and bosses (McConnell, Steele, etc), and reclaim the Party of Lincoln.

It's well documented that Maldonado wants to jump to the Democratic Party - that's why he pushed the bill for open primaries. He is indeed a traitor, and a self-serving one. Living in his district, I would actively campaign for a true conservative who can help us build the state again instead of tax it to death. Maldonado needs to go.

People are leaving the Republican Party because of Abel Maldonado. I know because I was one of them. Republicans like him have no principles.
