  • a flatted fifth is not a tritone...get your math straight

  • @SmokingHotGuitar It is. A fifth consists of seven half steps, flattening it means minus one half step. That makes six half steps. A tritone consists of six half steps. Don't believe me? Search for "flatted fifth", you'll get to the page about the tritone.
