  • For the record, before anyone else criticizes me publicly... John was not my "blood family" meaning he was not my family member by biological or marriage. He was one of my best friends who I considered family. He considered me his sister too. This is a TRIBUTE to his life, and negative comments will get deleted. Were all grieving the loss of an amazing man, so let it be. Let him rest in peace.

  • @paywand12, could you inbox me your address?

  • John an I was in the same Platoon 3075, very motivated Marine.

Drank a Henny and smoked newports in his honor. That what we talked about when talking about what he was going to do once we got off that Island, You will be missed Brother. I shall give them hell in your name.

  • My son served with Lcpl Cagle in 2nd LAR and called me Sunday about this tragedy. I can't imagine losing a son. What an outstanding young man taken much too soon. My love, prayers, and tears for this family who must carry on without their loved one. May God give you the peace that surpasses all understanding.

  • LCpl Cagle was one of my husbands marines in 2nd LAR. I never got a chance to meet him but when my husband says that someone is a good marine, I don't think twice about it. Cagle was one of those marines. May your family find peace and we thank LCpl Cagle for giving the ultimate sacrifice.

  • May I please get a copy.

  • This is such a sweet video! The pictures brought me to tears! He was my cousin. It just doesnt seem real! It feels like Im going to wake up and hes gonna be on facebook posting a new picture in his uniform!</3

  • I just want to say that I am sorry for your loss. I knew Lcpl Cagle from SOI. He was in my platoon until i got switched for MOS split. I only knew him a short time, but in that time me and him became friends. He always tried his hardest in anything we did. He kept everyone around him motivated and smiling. He made SOI fun and enjoyable. He will truly be missed, but he is in a better place now. I will pray for his friends and family back home. Take care.
