COB is amazing and no it's not a joke but whatever deathcore is a joke because it's trying to be like death metal,

if it wasn't for me listening to slipknot i wouldn't of listened to the bands i like now like

Lamb of god, Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, Nile, Children of bodom, Decapitated, and more bands, im not saying slipknot is a influence but for me it was because it made me want to look up other types of metal

To everyone who seems to think death-core has gotten "stale" in a better word, check out: Whitechapel, Through The Eyes Of The Dead (new and old), Suicide Silence, Within The Ruins, When Man Meets His Maker, Winds Of Plague, and Veil Of Maya. Go look that shit up right now, then try to tell me death-core sucks. Not all of it is shit.

I might like slipknot but i LOVE death metal and have you seen deathcore lately? its fucking generic....also i do like some deathcore bands but thats about it but overrall, it sucks. Then the new stuff is fucking HORRIBLE, bands like asking alexandria where they also have breakdowns and screamo vocals which is annoying, then they also have those gay singing parts and even techo. They overuse breakdowns, plus they most likely sound like some other breakdown BORING

i'm i die hard death metal-fan myself, but i just don't get it why everybody is bashing deathcore, in my eyes every genre in music should be respected as long as it's handmade and made with real passion - and deathcore is in my eyes one of those genres, although i only like some deathcore (carnifex is pretty cool in my eyes)....sorry dude, but that's just my opinion - think about it :-)
