Over 37 million people saw Sarah Palin declare in her acceptance speech that she told Congress, thanks but no thanks on that bridge to nowhere. That statement is demonstrably false, but the campaign of Sen. John McCain continues to tout Alaska Gov. Sarah Palins opposition to the so-called Bridge to Nowhere despite once linking it to the collapse of the 35W bridge.

Those who are still missing? They found all the bodies in the Mississippi river. I live in Minnesota and drove across that bridge many times. I will be driving across the new one also now that its open. Palin stopped supporting the bridge in Alaska after the Congress pulled the funding as nothing was getting built. She kept 73 million dollars of the 400 million that was proposed and in 2008 took 197 million dollars in Earmarks for that state. Yet this is what McCain says?? Shameful.
