Welcome to my four-part guide to Neverwinter Nights (and general Dungeons & Dragons until we get to the prestige classes) character class basics! In this part, I'll be going over the magic-centric classes of Cleric, Druid, Wizard, and Sorceror.

  • heal isn't that great for a cleric, you can simply use heal alignment - or the heal spells,

  • Depends on which D&D you're playing. Cleric's heal is much more effective in AD&D than it is in 3/3.5.

  • @xISOULx it depends, don't forget that Heal skill also cures poisons & diseases on top of healing a character. You're essentially saving time & spells when you can cure couple status ailments & Hit Points (based on your dice roll + Heal skill, you can easily cure 40-60 Hit Points in one shot) in one round.
