I listened to Australianews about an article he had found but had not identified his source to this article on extensions to the Marriage Act of 1961 under Commonwealth Law. But what Australianews did not say was the Marriage Act of 1961 is also involved with the Australian Constitution Section 51 of the Australian Constitution detailing what Marriage actually means under Australian Constitutional Law. Australianews was some what amiss in tracking down the interpretations of the High Court of Australia and terms of reference of the Marriage Act of 1961 and the Australian Constitution section 51. Now going through the Marriage Act and its various ammendments is a time consuming project. The article Australianews cherry picked made references that the Marriage Act of 1961 did not previously limit or was seen to limit what is referred to as a Marriage. But the Parliamentary Paper I just read to you certainly did set out was a Marriage. And that is a Voluntary Union between One Man and One Woman at exclusion to all else. In future Australianews if you are sourcing reference to what is termed by Law I suggest you actually search the exact meaning and not some reference to an article you found

  • @flowerpoweryou Smoking Bongs is that it. I quoted directly from the Law and from the Library of the Parliament and all you have is Oh Some one is smoking Bongs in the BackGround. Oh you think the Historical Data Base of the Library of Parliament is Dribble as I qouted from it. Is that the basis of your arguement. Surely you are an idiot and that you have no understanding of what you are talking about. I suggest you begin doing research of your own before commenting again
