We can't even get to the moon anymore... To come think of it, we do not even have a vehicle to get into SPACE anymore. In the 70s and 80s everyone was on drugs and in the 90s and 2000s everyone was to busy playing on the internet to do anything.

1900-1970 was an amazing period of time for human history... We went from riding on horses and candlelight to landing a man on the moon. Since the 1970s, the only things we've created are disco and the internet. We're merely in the information age now..."Look at us we can type to people on computers on the other side of the planet in real time" big whoop-de-do...so what. Humans ain't did shit useful in 40 years

Oh yeah, my computer weighs about 12 pounds. And my notebook computer weighs about 2 pounds.

In 100 years they will look back on this at the Digital/Electronic revolution. Things will be much more energy efficent, we will be using different forms or energy. Computers from 2112 will be as different to us as a digital calculator is from counting on your fingers. Humans will have cybernetic implants that allow them to surf the web with thier minds and holographic keyboards or some sort.
