I want to rubbish some previous comments- everyone knowss fine from 6 months learning chanter that it is easier to learn a tune on the chanter and easier to play with an easy reed..thats not rocket science.. I think you show very nice playing and good for you for putting up this clearly played tune that others like myself can see and hear. Also, there is no harm in blasting away on the pipes to practice and learn a tune. More time spent on pipes = more stamina for playing pipes better.

You seem to be struggling to keep up the pressure. What make and strength of reed do you use? Going with no drones is probably a good option until you build stamina.
nubb1337, once the basic fingering is learning, it should be memorized and cleaned up on the pipes (at least this is what I have picked up from other pipers). It's worked well for me so far. Also, I'm fairly certain we have/had the same instructor :)
