Tried the crab & dab combo on the Chubasco out of Monterey. Winds and swells were minimal but we endured some periodic rain showers.
Sand dab fishing isn't exciting, but they do taste good. Fishing was on and off, but we were catching triples and quadruples towards the end until the captain told us to wind them up so we could retrieve the crab pots.
Either due to escapees or pot theft, we were averaging only two to three crabs with a max of five per pot but all were legal-sized, and so the 10 anglers went home with five apiece.

No, it isn't really exciting since the fish don't fight like a salmon or halibut.

I use this one which is a free download. The catch is that they put their watermark in the middle of the screen for one minute every three minutes. But the software is easy to use: AVS Video Editor from avs4you.com
As for music, best to use songs here on youtube since there are many artists that are copyrighted that won't be allowed on youtube. But you may have to convert the music to MP4 format if using the AVS software.
