Google Chrome OS Demo

A short run down/demo of all of the features of Google's new OS Chromium OS. It runs basically exactly the same as Googles Chrome browser. Watch in fullscreen and HD to see properly.
It has an impressive boot speed of aprox. 3 seconds to the login screen and you login using your Google account and it shuts down in less time than that.
Themes that work with the Google Chrome Browser work perfectly with the Chrome OS and so do extensions, bookmarks, downloads etc. The whole OS is cloud based and everything is run off of the internet. The OS itself is only just over 300 mb. I was running it as a virtual machine through Parallels 6 using only 768 mb memory and hardly any processing power and everything and it still ran perfectly fine so that shows that it doesn't need much power at all. @ozzk77 yeah thats something i found about it as well... remember mine is an old one and they may have added a power button somewhere inside the OS but in the one I had you had to turn it off using your computers power button.

So.... Can it run programs other than a web browser? I'd love to have a computer with no apple or microsoft os but.....

@neilcwright It's got the web browser which can of course run flash but other than that no support for mac apps, linux apps or windows ones that run on it... although there has been a rumour going around about chromoting or chromating or something that lets you run mac and windows apps on your chrome os computer but i doubt it will actually happen... so yeah essentially just the browser and thats it.... well apps in the form of links into a browser.
