I would say that, as an atheist, while I do appreciate Penn's straight-forward response to the "cardinal", I feel that he could have touched on a few other points XD. For example, I find it a little strange that the news even brought this up, when just recently, there was a poll that showed atheists were the most hated, mistrusted group, even over gays and Muslims... So I wonder why people would suddenly start feeling for us, since I know a lot of people would rather us drop dead altogether.
I am a christian. Im not a mainstream one though (just wanted to get that out of the way). I just wanted to say that while I hate that atheists are universally hated I do understand some of the mistrust. I hate generalising but almost every atheist ive met have has called everyone who practices religeon retards and accuses them of all crimes that anybody has ever performed in the name of religeon. I dont support what the cardinal says but ive heard many atheists say the same thing.
Hitler compared evicting Jews from Europe to Jesus throwing the money changers form the temple. Since when do we believe the criminal's characterization of his/her crime?
right now i don't really know what i believe so you could call me a christan/athiest or something like that its hard to believe something you don't see.
Radical Zionist Sumner Redstone, who owns "Penn & Teller: Bullshit" thinks non-Jews are less than human. To get anywhere in his Viacom/CBS empire you have to be Jewish, whether religious, ethnic or cultural/secular. If I only had a nickel every time Redstone pejoratively refered to a non-Jewish man as a goy (cow) or non-Jewish woman as a shicksa (dirty whore) ...
Penn Jillette is one of Sumner Redstone's many errand boys -- Redstone owns Bill Mahr and Jon Stewart too.
People didn't enslave a country due to not believing in god, besides I could argue that some christians are unfair as well, the big golden gigantic cathedrals next to poor dirty Romanian houses that's not very giving to build a cathedral next to a poor community when the people need the money more.
