Cartuning Performance makes a Turbo kit specifically for the 3800 motors. Stick one in and get that 4T65 Transaxle upgraded to the 4T65HD and you will have a V6 that will smoke the shit out of a bone stock Corvette and maybe some lightly modded Mustangs/Camaros. The 3.8L L36 engine has strong internals and can generate 400+HP with the turbo kit. The supercharged 3800 L67 engine only gives you about 50 more HP then a normally aspirated L36.

@Cirux321 ZZP makes a cheaper, higher quality turbo kit. Actually two.. the Z3 at $2300, and the Z7 at $3000.

He deff was not goin 140 when he went by you, if that was the case there is no way you were beating him he prolly went by you at around 110 115 cause you had slowed down to 80 and then he caught up. deff was not going 140, just saying.

@drummifier The 2002 SS doesn't have a governer. I have one and got it topping out (completely stock) at 145 mph. I kicked a Eclipse ass and a Corvette. Raced a 2011 mustang gt and got my ass ripped in half though lol

@hellobitch1000 i never tried them, but it sounds like they pretty much just tweak your ECU. So basically, it will increase top speed by removing the ECU governor and also will let you hit higher RPM's by taking off the rev limiter. stuff like that. pretty much because your fans. rev limiter, top speed, and shifts (if automatic) are all run by your ECU. so yea i would say that would help, but you would really need to know what you are doing and read up on it so you dont fuck your engine lol.
