FFIX E2PG Leftovers: King of Jump Rope

I realize this is a boring video. You don't have to watch it, better ones are on the way.

Anyway, I was gonna put some music with this, but I figured some people might want to use it as an instructional video of sorts. Well, what I do is listen for the sound of Vivi hitting the ground, and tap the button a split second afterwards. I focus on the ! bubble to gauge if I'm going too fast or too slow. Ideally, the bubble should just barely form completely, then disappear. If it doesn't form all the way, then slow down a tad, if it stays full for more than a few frames then speed up. This method is almost fool-proof as long as you don't get distracted, and can easily get you through the tricky 200-300 section if you know what to expect.

I intentionally lost after winning the Genji and Tiger Racket cards so I could manipulate them, much like I did with the Hot and Cold treasures. This was my first attempt at going for 1000 so obviously it isn't as hard as some people think. In fact, I have gotten 9999 consecutive jumps, and plan to get two more for a perfect ranking sheet. (9999 isn't the maximum, no one knows what the max is, but that'll just be our little secret)

In addition to 1whoistornapart's method, you can use a counting system to help you learn the timing and how to anticipate the bubble. Just focus on hitting the first two bubble's in each pattern, then count in patterns. (etc. 1..2..1..2..1..2..1..2 OR 1..2..3..4..1..2..3..4).

If that's to confusing 1whoistornapart's method is just as effective without it, so just try to follow it.
