This composition was made using a bass with a MIDI pickup and MainStage 2. This piece was originally performed as part of my HSC performances and apparently some people liked it, so here it is again!! :)
This wasn't a perfect take, but hey...... It's better than nothing.... :)
Composed, arranged and performed by Michael Taylor.
Special thanks to Damian Evans for help in recording and arranging.
Wow this is awesome!! I just recently got mainstage but i can´t make it work with my bass guitar. It just makes a squecky sound! Do i need a midi pickup in order to use it in mainstage?

@1StTubeYou thanks!! yeah in order to use it as a MIDI device, you'll need a midi pickup for your bass. you'd also need a external device for it as well.

@tails4aus Are there any special midi pickup you recomend for bass. (could you give a link to it) and does it work well enough for example if you want to make a real kickass woble bass synth?

@1StTubeYou sorry man, i have NO idea what the exact specs were that i was using. plus it's sort of unreliable for a performance instrument. you really need to have a separate bass, just for running midi.
like, for example the bass i was using had a set of thinner strings on it, because the midi interface picked up those notes better.
you can definitely make a kickass wobble synth using the set-up, you're only limited by the software you're running!
