@cabokenw My guess would be that if you look at ocean crossings by private boats 40-100 feet, 95% are Nordhavn. >>> Fascinating, did not know that !!! I am going through your videos one by one. Excellent presentation....

@dcg000000000000 No licenses required, although, I do have a USCG 100 ton license. Checkout kensblog.com - the boat is in hong kong. I just returned home yesterday

@dcg000000000000 We do travel the caribbean, and there are many nordhavn boats now in the caibbean. Nordhavn's are bought by people who want rugged, but comfortable, boats that are capable of ocean crossing. My guess would be that if you look at ocean crossings by private boats 40-100 feet, 95% are Nordhavn.

beautiful boat and travels, what is the maintenance on a boat that size? love ur videos

@dcg000000000000 I'm extremely lazy, so I outsource 99% of the work on the boat. Because of the wonky places we cruise I need to know how to do everything myself, but I always have the mechanics do all they can during the offseason to ensure that the boat doesn't break while I'm running it.
It does cost money to have all the work done by others, but if you can afford the boat, affording the repair-work is easy...
