Mario Paint Composer - Spark Mandrill - Megaman X

This is my absolute favorite tune out of MMX, or any Megaman game, really. When I saw that nobody had done this, I wondered why, and began directly. I now see why nobody has done this one. . .

Its all fine up until halfway through the 4th clip where the range goes up past high C, so I had to change the instrumentation slightly. On top of that, there are some 16th triplets (drum solo...), which would require a tempo of 4096(!) to accurately re-create. That was a definate no-go.


Regardless, I'm quite happy with the final product!

Also, this was done using SatoshiLyish's Mario Paint Plus 1.05 soundset. Listen for the nice boats!

Done by ear in 10-12 hours from ZekeLonewalker's OST.

@OnyxDStone Penguin gives dash boots then Eagle gives you hard helment then armadillo gives you nothing cuz he dosent like you...then you get all the upgrades then get haduken from street fighter its true look it up

In Megaman x you should always fight Chill Penguin first.When your almost at boss stage they give you the dash boots upgrade.

@OnyxDStone Yeah, but the point of theEvilGrimace's order (Which is the one I use unless I'm trying to challenge myself) is to minimize the need to repeat stages. Besides, it's not like any of the bosses in X1 are hard to take down with just the X-Buster.

@theEvilGrimace Penguin is the easiest to beat, he leads to Mandrill, who shocks armadillo, who then takes off the arms of the Octopus, that can follow Kuwanger the ninja, who then gets chameleon stuck in a loop, stings Eagle, and blows away the Mammoth. JRAI88 Had it right
