im a trumpet player also and i switched to sous...but i still play trumpet because i been on trumpet so long since 5th grade, but i play sous most now and trumpet on my own time a lot...but i have one more year of high school im in the 11th ...and i have 1 more year of HS...id like to attend VSU, the section is sweet...is VSU gonna be at the honda classics?

Once your in the band, your in the band. But whether or not you stay in the section depends on the bands current needs. But Horsepower does function a little differently from the band. We are a lot more disciplined and practice and perform a lot more than the band so if your not with the program from jump...you might not last.

Played Sousa for 5 years. 1 year HS and 4 years college. Section leader for 3 years in college. Prior to al of that 6 years on trumpet prior to that. Don't play much anymore, just mentor the group and play with the alumni from time to time.
