  • @redcapthefirst RE: Chord at 1:21. I think it was a lucky accident. Simon drops the first finger from the usual C chord shape giving open B. And he hits the open low E string too (not the usual thing to do when playing C. In the open position, this new chord would be C Major7/E.

But with the Capo on at the 6th Fret as it is here and the song being in the key of E flat minor, this equates to GbMaj7/Bb.

    Sorry about the techno answer...

From a pro guitarist and S+G junkie!

  • wish i was there in that room. lucky sods! art is looking fine! and paul has a look of david guest. when he is older obviously, but the music is amazing as usual!

  • one of the best performances of all time.....for 4 minutes and 59 seconds the world stops and all you can hear is the music

Although I definitely agree with your comment! Edison did not invent the camera, it was actually a frenchman by the name of Louis Le Prince who shot the first film in 1888, Roundhay Garden Scene. Although it's always nice to see a Simon and Garfunkel fan! :)

  • @goldhat3 You are correct sir!! The best video since Thomas Edison invented cameras

  • @ysplse The lady in the middle is jazz, pop, blues, standards singer Nancy Wilson. She also acted in various TV shows in the 60s and 70s. I think she had a variety show in the mid 70s, too.

  • I love Victor Borge as well as Simon & Garfunkel and have been lucky enough to see him live.

But and pardon my ignorance who is the girl? I know I should know but can't remember her name.

  • yes that worked out particularly well .
