Zurich Airport - Maintenance Visit 1991 (SWISSAIR)

This is antoher Video of 1991 filmed by my Dad. My Uncle was able to take us to the Maintenance Hall in Zurich. You can see a brand new MD-11 that just arrived. Me again in the age of 7 years and my brother, mother and Uncle (SWISSAIR Family) Enjoy!

@RDSdaEAGLE After 1996, Swissair was not anymore the national company because they cancelled all intercontinental flights from/to Geneva, except New York. But else, I agree, it was a wonderful airline.

Hi Andy,

I lived in Switzerland for five years (from the age of 5 to 10) - we often flew from Zuerich to London. On one trip, we were given the opportunity to experience Swissair's brand new MD-11 as it was being entered into service - the wing view section of the video is almost the exact spot that I sat in when we flew.

Your video reminds me of that trip, and of how great Swissair were to fly with. The MD-11 has been a favourite of mine ever since.
