I love the fact that you mentioned the early church believers sharing everything and no one was in need ...love it!...and we need more of that! But how do you justify an old testament ordinance for the "levites" and apply it to the christ rejecting poor of our time? Don't get me wrong, let's love the poor and give to them...but let's not misappropriate the term "tithe" out of context.

It's a really good video except for the last minute.
We've been tithing kind of like this on our own for years and the ironic thing is we always get back about what we've given through unexpected windfalls. Not that you should expect that to happen but so far it's been a pattern.
