I somehow agree with you that Azerbaijanians don`t look like old Turks or people from Central Asia, but so do Persians don`t look like the ones during the Sasanid or Ahamanli times. Now there are many persians with Arabic features. Noone would differentiate some Iranians from Arabs. This doesn`t mean that Persians are arabs. Many races in Middle east have mixed. espacially Azeris and Persians mixed a lot since we are living in the same geography.

You don`t know anything about Azerbaijanians. Many Azeris living in North Azerbaijan have families in South. Almost everybody i know in Azer. have some how connection with South Azerbaijan. So if half family live in south and the other half in North, how you can claim that Azeris in South Azer. and North are two different race. This is nothing more than Iranian nonsense propaganda.

is true azerbaijanis are caucasian but some of them have dravidian influence. However, 'Azeris' from Iran are not the same as the ones from Azerbaijan. They speak same language yes, but 2 different races. People from Azerbaijan look very different from that of northern iran. regards.

Azeris celebrate Spring because it's when Turks first left ERGENEKON. Iranians are idiots if they think they're the only people in the world who celebrate Spring, it's not "persian new year".

It is called Novruz. It comamorates the coming of spring on March 22. it is very ancient comes from Zoastrian times.
