@beegotityeah I washed with some Miss Jessie's shampoo and conditioner before using it, but put gel on my edges, which caused residue immediately. I cowashed with some Herbal Essence Totally Twisted, reapplied it and had no problems. It is very light, so if a person's curls aren't defined with water and oil alone, this probably won't be heavy enough. I'll use it again. It seems great for the summer.

It does have a lot of residue in it! but after I washed my hair and used it there was no residue in there it did work well on my twist out. my hair was a little hard, but although I like it...It doesn't necessarily make your curls become more defined.

I think those products are TOO expensive not to work well with one another. I was in target and looked at a few of the prices and I was sssooo turned off. Its not that serious. I'll stick with my Shea Moisture product line.....LOL

thanks for the reveiw..the only Miss Jessie product that I found you can mix is her baby butter creme..it seems to mix well with all her stuff.. do you think it would work on twists or is it just useless :)

@kylahsmom1 Usually for me. When I find a product that doesnt do to good for my hair and I try to use other products within that line. I generally do not have very much success. Now I can just say that for my hair type. My Besti's hair loves Miss Jessies Curly Pudding. So it depends on your texture.
