http://www.premierguitar.com PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in San Luis Obisbo, CA, where he gets a tour of the Ernie Ball Music Man facilities from EBMM's CEO Sterling Ball.

In this segment, Sterling takes us through the Ernie Ball Music Man factory that produces the company's guitars and basses. Here, we get to see specific processes on how the guitars are setup, how the necks are carved, shaped, and given EBMM's signature feel and playability, the patented chamber patterns of an Axis, how they do seamless binding, and Sterling talks about how it's hard being a CEO during these shaky economic times.

  • Thank you, Sterling Ball, for making the best guitars in the world.

  • I've owned a les Paul (VOS), 2 prs guitars ( the 25th anniversary sc245 I still own) a music man axis, an American tele, and a music man steve morse. So in terms of personal opinion, I actually have a good basis for comparison. Music man guitars are among the finest I've had the pleasure to own. It will always come down to personal preference, however to say that one guitar is "better" is just ignorant. These aren't some squire strata we are talking about here, these are high value, low priced

    Nice Freddie bulge.

  • what a great video - thanks

  • 8:23 the worker's got some fingerpicking fingernails...Respect.

  • i dont get where did those fret gaps come from. cause when you cut the frets, the full edge is already filled with the fret itself.

  • @TheYWCBAND From what I've seen in the video the question is can an American citizen work there?

  • Awesome.
