  • if i rode the shit that you do, i wouldn't try to act like an atv snob. my outlaw 525s flat out dominates any jap quad, im not bashing jap bikes ive owned them all my life, and im not sticking up for polaris (since they had to have ktm make there only bike to ever be any good) however theres no going wrong with an outlaw .. a lot more reliable then my kfx the only thing thats better is the efi

  • 395 pounds isnt exactly heavy concidering its not a mx bike, its still lighter then the trx700xx and the same as a raptor 700 (two competitors). The straight axle (what i have) weighs 365, irs is amazing for trail riding but not fast trail riding its too tippy

  • @leafsrule16 Just cause you own something doesnt mean its better than everything else. Btw Banshee is king.

  • have you noticed it takes a hopped up banshee to keep up with a stock outlaw

  • Yamaha for life in general.. you just can't beat it.. there rhino is starting to slack but so is my ball sack

  • Banshees r soo sickk

  • Ill tell you that banshee is not stock or the dude on the outlaw dont no how to ride.

  • @jcallesano - my brother had a preditor 500 and it was stock and did 82mph.

  • Yamaha last longer and goes faster who would want a outlaw unless they like fixin it

  • Still looked pretty close for a street race, but 3 years down the road with lots of trail riding, do ya think the Outlaw will need PISTONS AND RINGS??? I think not. I do know for a fact the Banshee will and ain't got no balls below 6000 rpm and is pretty thirsty. Ohhh, don't forget the oil mix on every gas fill. They do sound nice though, lol.

  • I just bought a used 2006 outlaw 500, I call bullshit on it doing anything over 60. Maybe it seems slower to me, but I don't see or feel myself doing much more than 60. It's quick, but not almost 90 mph like some are stating here.

  • how about some spec's/mod's on the two... that will explain some.
