Mileys POV:
So the final bell rang and I jumped from my seat to find Kevin before he left.
"Kevin!"
"Oh hey," he said pulling folders out of his locker and stuffing them in his backpack.
"Is it alright if I walk home with you, I have something to tell you..."
"Sure, lets go..." Kevin put his arm around me as he pushed the door open letting the sun warmed our bodies.
Kevin guided me down a narrow path with trees on both sides.
"So, uh... what did you want to talk about?"
"Oh, so guess what?" I jumped.
"What?"
"OK its my birthday!" I smiled.
"WHAT! You mean I forgot?!" Kevin got a really panicked look on his face and began to pant.
"No, No silly, its next week, the 23."
"Oh good..." Kevin sighed.
I smiled and looked into his eyes, "Well I was wondering if you and youre brothers wanted to come over for my party..."
"OK, um.. We'll be there.." Kevin said. He took my hand and intertwined it with his and continued to walk me home.
We arrived at my place and I swung opened the door leading Kevin into the kitchen.
"Hi Sweetie!" my mom greeted. "Whos this?"
"Hi Mom. Um.. This is Kevin... Kevin meet my mom..." I stuttered.
"Hi Ms. Carter..." Kevin shook her hand and smiled.
"Well OK then, we're just gonna go for a walk down the beach..."
"OK, have fun..." my mom said.
"Ok bye! Come on Kevy..."
We were walking peacefully along the beach. The calming breeze was refreshing and Kevin was lightly holding my hand, swinging it back and forth.
"So... youre birthday, actually its all of your birthday... So what do you think you want?"
"Oh gosh I dont know... I love jewelry, oh I and always thought its romantic when a guy writes a song for her..." I bashfully spoke.
Kevins POV:
Wow a song? That is romantic. What am I gonna do? I want to please her so much, shes so special to me.
We walked for a while, the sun set and I took Miley back to her house. Before I let her go, I gave her a kiss. Think she was happy that I care about her, and a kiss showed her that. I escorted her inside and gave her a slight hug goodbye before grabbing my books and heading home.
I raced home and slammed the door shut when my father caught me.
"Kevin! Where have you been?" Sir yelled.
I was filled with many emotions. I didnt know what to do, my mind was cluttered. I was silent and beat my dad up the stairs to my bedroom. He chased me, but I slammed my door and locked it.
"Dont you run away from me young man!!!! Dont you know youre s'pose to call if youre gonna late?!?!" Sir pounded on my door making my heart beat faster with every beat.
I was afraid of him beating my door down, so I unlocked my door and opened it. Sir was coming fast with a punch so I shut my door quickly. I waited a few seconds before opening it again. I saw Sir gripping his swollen hand and slowly stepping backwards.
"It's not over..." Sir stepped forward and I carefully stepped back. He got to feet and made his way downstairs. I heard the fridge door open. He got a beer. The back door slammed, which meant he was gone for the night, drinking and bitching about us at the late night club [Bar]
Knowing that Sir fled the house, gave me a sign of relief. I breathed heavily looking for my brothers. "Joe? Frankie?" I called.
Joe and Frankie slowly came out of their rooms. "Is the coast clear?" Frankie asked.
"Yeah. Are you guys OK?" I asked huddling near my brothers to give them a big secure hug.
"Were fine." Joe mumbled. "Uh, Kev... I cant breathe..."
"Sorry. Oh guys I have some news... come here..." I led them down to the couch. I started to pace back and forth... "Well as you may or may not know... Miley, Nick, Selena, and Demis birthday is next week, the 23..."
"WHAT?!" Joe interjected. "I only have a week to come up with the perfect gift for Demi???"

What will Kevin get Miley?
