Choosing the right cheese and charcuterie for a meal with friends or family needs expert advice. In this video, Pottery Barn's cheese and cured meat expert Alberto shows how to choose the right charcuterie and cheese for a perfect meal.

To lay out the perfect meal consisting of exotic charcuterie and cheese, Alberto suggests including Manchego Cheese, which in this case is three months old. Alberto also recommends the popular Portuguese Serra de Estrela cheese to make your meal more savory.

For the right selection of charcuterie in the meal, Alberto suggests inclusion of Iberico ham that is cured with traditional methods to preserve taste and flavor. The inclusion of almonds and olives is highly recommended for meals consisting of charcuterie and cheese. For the right olive variety, Alberto insists on choosing logano and kalmata olives for best taste.
