I watched Dirty Dancing years ago.The music in it really impressed me a lot.There is Japanese music in Chinese Yueju Opera The story of Shunkin and it merges so well with Chinese music.Transition of Latina Merengues to Chinese opera maybe a good try for morden plays if there is a nice script.

This is a all female performance and tradition! All male characters are performed by female actors. The female actors at Shanghai Yueju Troupe are great! More famous ones include Qian Huili and Zheng Guofent(Xu school), Zhang Ruihong (Fan school), Huang Hui (Lu school),etc. They are just great!

I's so glad that Shanghai Yueju Troupe has these new and excellent young actors who can continue its glorious treatrical tradition. In my opinion, Shanghai Yueju Troupe is the best Yueju troupe in China.
