@TheSmoonge Do you know ARM chips, probably the most used CPU design in the world, are British designed, not Japanese. They are in almost everything that is electronic, including IPhones, TV's, Tablets, Games consoles etc.

@TheSmoonge Well obviously Europe didn't invent everything. But China is the king of counterfeits or crap knock offs, what the west does, they try and do it cheaper. Made in Taiwan always equaled crap until now. The past 10 years the quality has improved.

Japan did improve things like efficiency and reliability and certain electronics, although they are also kings of over engineering or technology for the sake of it. For example their toilets are so over engineered it's laughable.

They also got fire works and consequently, gunpowder from there as well as pearls, silk production and the manufacture of clothing and other things associated with it, herbal tea, paper making, calligraphy and printing, the compass, the kite, seismograph and the zodiac. Japan has copied a lot of things from the West, sure, but they've also improved on them, invented things based off of them and are the most technological country
