Wow! The 1960s doing the 1930s... and I'm watching in 2011... time is indeed mutable

@star5777006 Very clever of you to consider the time differences! I love the book and film and it never crossed my mind. Good for you!

@TheAmericanEvita Maybe you should re-watch part 16 of the movie.

@63kraft Well I am a liberal Democrat and agnostic/spiritual person but that's completely wrong. I don't know of any liberal that loves Mussolini, Franco, Hitler or any other Fascist dictator. As for my comment my point was that in her attitudes and character, Ms Brodie is a very liberated 60's woman. This movie is from '68 or '69, and they wanted to relate to the liberalism of that period. I grew up in the 90's which I felt was also a liberal time

@TheAmericanEvita In a way, you are correct. Miss Brodie is a liberal, 60's revolutionary. She supports fascists like Mussolini and Franco. This movie reveals liberalism for what it really.is.

@Gee4747 Unfortunately I couldn't find the street name for you! The opening title theme is named Edinburgh Morning. Just type it in the search bar and it's the second one from the top! Enjoy!
