They say that because he has never been so much promoted in mass media. He was skillful guitarist, like George Lynch. I think they're very alike in their style. I'm not the fan of Kiss but I'm in favour of his guitar playing style.

I don't dislike Mark at all. I thought he fit the band much better than Vinnie, but KISS' music has never been about how fast you can play. While this is technically very good I could never listen to this type of stuff for a 2 hour show. This just doesn't really fit into KISS' style.

Mark was my guitar teacher in teh early ninties and I got to hang with he and Peter Criss for a while..He was a great guitar player and a god dude
