Patrick Wolf : Damaris & The Libertine : London Palladium 15 November 2009

Patrick Wolf performs Damaris & The Libertine live at the London Palladium on Sunday 15 November 2009.

On the first song Patrick is joined Gwendoline Christie, who also appears in the official video for Damaris.

The pedants among you may notice that The Libertine was actually earlier in the set than Damaris. I swapped them round as the first few seconds of Damaris had the picture missing and was, therefore, more suitable for the title sequence.

The show was pretty incredible in every way, and featured, in addition to Patrick's regular band, a six piece string section, a choir and guest appearances from Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine), Alec Empire and the wonderful Gwendoline Christie as the Voice of Hope! Patrick declared that it was the best show he'd ever played. Who am I to argue?!
