  • Why not try "reasonably rapid recommendation"?

  • @DrSinisterPhD I love it! Now why didn't I think of that? I'm getting old.

  • I am 100% behind you on this topic, Quality vs Quantity. I only saw one beer bottle behind you on the bench so I'm guessing your first takes were usable, good job, I see that you were unitasking well.

  • @JoeCubicle Haha...uh, yeah...it was just a candleholder I was making. I spend a lot of time on set design.

  • i disagree, your videos are up there with the best, they are funny, entertaining and helpful...... what more could a person want???

  • Great idea and great video! Love the shirt, support your local fire and EMS stations everywhere!

  • again love your RRR's

"Multitasking" was originally a concept for computor designers to utilize unused coputing space in the main processor, if the current function requires only 1/4 of the computing ability and the next computation takes 1/2 of the computing ability why not redesign things such that they both run at the same time. great idea for computors.

  • Nice to hear people talking about topics like this. Good job.

  • I've never considered multitasking a bad thing but it makes a lot of sense! Great Video!

  • Great message Steve

  • Great video Steve. In high school I started long distance running with friends after marching band practice. I had to learn how to control my breathing, muscle isolation, and really focus on the task at hand. I called it running "With a Purpose." I've used this term to emphasize to other people the importance of asking oneself, "Whats the goal here? How do I achieve it?" Unitasking is the perfect term for this concept :D

  • You are so right.

  • thank you Steve, Always clear and funny.

    I realy enjoy your clips......

  • @stevinmarin I do just that. I've already gotten a shed load of tips from you. Funny how every woodworker has a unique spin on how to do everything. And seriously, your videos are entertaining because of you. You're a funny dude. You have a funny take on things. It's your personality I reckon, is half the reason I like your videos so much. Anyway...keep em coming and hopefully someone will start paying you for them. They deserve it!

  • definition of multi-tasking = screwing several things at the same time

  • @njdizzzle Thanks. Marc's videos are incredible...I learn a lot from them. My goal is just to have fun. The main thing anyone needs to do when watching any woodworking videos is pull individual techniques and ideas from them.

  • Steve,

Not much woodworking, but a pretty good piece of philosophy for a Sunday Morning. I suggest you google up the Simplicity movement - similar stuff.

  • @stevinmarin Thanks Steve. I did watch it and loved it, Think I posted a comment saying as much, but I'm sure you're not tracking your users that closely:-)

You're a funny dude. Love your vids. Got onto you through the wood whisperer. You're a bit more entertaining to watch...truth be told!

  • thank you that's waht i needed early morning to start my day LOL. men is me that always try looking thing behind you the way they arranged n dreaming to arranged mine ... nice rapid woodworking philosophy video...

  • you rock! love your stuff. keep it coming!

  • Very well said Steve... and if its any consolation, your video's are in the top 1% according to what I watch. :) Keep up the good work.

  • ... and since we can only really do one thing at a time it's likely that each thing we put down will never get picked up again. :-) Unitasking in my family seems to be intuative "I JUST DO WHAT I'M TOLD". I think that's where the expession "Grow a pair" comes from? Good message, doing something from start to finish is a lot more satisfying. Though does not ever hardly happen for me ... :-(

  • @Mad1rishMan Uh...I just made that Connect 4 game 4 days ago. Thanks for your support, though. I'll watch your videos in the mean time.

  • @lucserre Haha...yeah, I use the tripod whenever I can, but I'm just to antsy to sit still!
