That is very true. These engines are the best electrics I've ever seen and to lay my hands on them was truly a great experience.

Building is much cheaper than buying...
Check my GE 44 video, I built that engine (yet to run =( ) for just over 1000 minus cost of batteries...
The engines in this video go for over 10,000 each

Yep, Mr. Herrings engines are really awesome! The volume can be turned up also if you wish, they are sweet!

This is an amazing backyard railroad. I do this stuff for CSX, but I think this takes the cake!!! The sound is phenomenal. Sounds like a real emd prime mover, the rocking of the engines on the joints, and the sound of the wheels hitting the joints!!

@8534951 They work but were not turned on at the time. There is a bell and flasher circuit as well as pneumatic gates that lower as the train approaches. Pretty nice system. But once again, not on at the time.
