This is official uefa.com magazine report on the 2nd round group B Euro 2008 match between Germany and Croatia. After both winning their 1st round matches (Germany beat Poland 2:0 and Croatia beat co-hosts Austria 1:0), this was trully a "to be or not to be" match for the group B first position. Croatians won due to goals of Shaktar Donetsk`s Darijo Srna and HSV`s Ivica Olić, while Lukas Podolski scored for Germany. On the wings of almost 20,000 Croatian fans at the stadium in Klagenfurt, Croatia both secured quarter-finals of UEFA Euro 2008 and put down second win against Germany in their history, first after 3:0 quarter-final at World Cup in France 1998.
